About Good Mojo

We are a new fishing charter business but operated by some of the most experienced fisherman on the eastern seaboard, Captain Mike and Captain Ricky and you can find their pictures and bios. Our boat, Navigator, is a Viking 50 that has been meticulously maintained and is rigged to fish.

Navigator has plenty of room for 6 guests and 2/3 crew. She has a fully equipped interior with AC, two seating areas and a full galley. Two Sub-Zero Fridges will keep any snacks and drinks you bring nice and cold while you fish. Further forward in the boat you will find the spacious bathroom facilities.

In the rear cockpit you will find a fighting chair, live well and all the equipment needed for a fun and relaxing day of fishing. Up on the flybridge there is plenty of seating area and a great 360-degree view of everything around you, whether you want to admire the scenery or watch the spread when trolling for Wahoo, Tuna and Sailfish.

On the flybridge you will see the helm area that has an array of electronics to help us find the best locations to fish and increase our chances of landing the ‘big one’!

We use all different techniques of fishing e.g. bottom fishing, trolling, live bait, kite fishing, sight casting, deep drop for swordfish but please tell us if you have a specific type of fishing that interests you. Typically, we target Sailfish (catch & release), King Mackerel, Wahoo (so tasty), Dorado, Black Fin Tuna and Snapper but we can up our game and shark fish or go out into the deeper water for Swordfish. When live bait is required, this does add an extra cost to the charter.

Our Fishing Destinations

Riviera Beach Marina and Village is ideally located within 10 minutes cruising of Lake Worth Inlet giving easy access to prime fishing grounds and the gulf stream. The marina has plenty of parking and a Tiki bar for a refreshing drink or meal after your charter. Directly opposite the marina is Peanut Island, a beautiful park with beautiful beaches and great snorkeling in crystal clear water. The island is accessible by water taxi, ferry of private boat.

Most of our fishing takes place in depths of 100 to 1,200 feet which puts you right in the gulf stream where the best fishing is. This can change depending on what the latest intel is on the best places to fish and species to target. Captain Mike and Captain Ricky pay close attention to this and will always have a recommendation on what fish to chase. Please remember it is fishing and not catching.

Captain Mike

Captain Mike grew up in Palm Beach County, Florida, playing baseball throughout his youth and collegiate years. However, his passion for fishing comes from the few weeks every year he would spend in the Bahamas free diving and fishing. These are activities that are a major part of his life today and he really enjoys going to work as that means he is out on the water chasing fish. He owns his own boat and spends many hours fishing with friends during his free time. Mike loves to see people catch fish and have great experience, he is extremely motivated to find the fish for his guests!

Captain Ricky

Born and raised in New Jersey, Captain Ricky spent many years learning to fish from his dad where he spent many summers down on the shore surf casting. He also spent many years in the fishing industry, which further broadened and deepened his knowledge but always missed spending time on the water. In 2018 he decided to turn this passion into a career and moved to Florida where he spends most of his time fishing, either on charter or on his days off. Ricky loves to teach people how to fish and will happily share his vast knowledge.
